DMARC Checker

Validate a domain's DMARC record, policy and reporting, with issues flagged.

About DMARC Checker

DMARC tells inbox providers what to do with mail that fails SPF and DKIM alignment, and where to send authentication reports. No signup required.

How to use the DMARC Checker

  1. Enter the domain you want to check (for example, example.com).
  2. We look up the live DMARC record at _dmarc.yourdomain and validate it.
  3. Review the policy, reporting addresses and any flagged issues.

Frequently asked questions

What is a DMARC record?

DMARC is a DNS TXT record at _dmarc.yourdomain that tells inbox providers what to do with mail that fails SPF and DKIM alignment, and where to send authentication reports.

What does p=none, quarantine or reject mean?

The policy tag controls enforcement. p=none only monitors, p=quarantine sends failing mail to spam, and p=reject blocks it outright. Most domains start at none and tighten as they gain confidence.

Why do I need a DMARC reporting address?

The rua tag points to a mailbox that receives aggregate reports. Without it you get no visibility into who is sending as your domain or whether your authentication is aligned.
